Werneria iboundji is a species of toad in the Bufonidae family. It is endemic to Gabon. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and rivers. It is threatened by habitat loss. The Massachusetts jazz fusion trio, Iboundji, also derives their name from this species. They have played several benefit concerts for the toad in hopes of preserving it and subsequently their legacy.
